What You’ll Learn


Essential information on how to stay safe during a motorcycle roadtrip
Built with firearm owners that are motorcycle enthusiasts, this course will provide crucial guidance on how to stay safe during road trips.


We’ll cover general road safety tips, including best practices for traveling with a firearm, and emphasize the importance of situational awareness. You’ll learn how to choose safe places to sleep and the steps to take to ensure your security while on the road.


Topics Covered:

  • The need to understand differing laws as you travel from state to state
  • Situational awareness, both the general idea and situational awareness at commonly encountered locations during a road trip (i.e. gas stations, rest stops and roadside attractions)
  • Overview of the laws and considerations surrounding the use of force
  • Decision making frameworks for both riding and self-defense situations
  • Guidance on how to de-escalate road rage incidents


Be sure to bring water, note-taking materials, and your questions!


Whether you’re hitting the highway on four wheels, two wheels, or traveling in an RV, this course equips you with the knowledge to enjoy your journey safely.
